The Wrong Wave is an invitation to be taken along a seemingly endless sonic stream of feedback and recursion. The fluid line-up consisting of sound artists such as Yaniv Schonfeld and Puin + Hoop will be accompanied by various acoustic instrumentalists.

.

Puin + Hoop are a trio that delves into freely improvised music made somewhere between Amsterdam and Utrecht. In the summer of 2006 Remco, Erik and Roald decided to start recording music while the rest of their band Accepting Us was on a short hiatus. The first idea was to make terrible noise and ambient sounds. As time passed, the music shaped more into the ambient direction. With room for playful sound explorations. They have released six cd’s since 2006. All with handmade covers.

Tapage has been polluting the world of electronics with a neverending string of albums, e.p.’s and compilation appearances for the past 9 years or so. Despite being a very prolific producer he’s rarely seen performing onstage. When he does, there’s no way of telling what’ll come out of it. Sometimes industrial hrshness prevails… sometimes it’s a buzzing ambient landscape that slowly develops over time.

The Void* have been building instruments and playing structured improvisations that sounds like anything between a school of dolphins suffering from anxiety attacks and a swarm of bees buzzing in unison.

Yaniv Schonfeld is never satisfied by what’s there. The entire world is an instrument waiting to be repurposed and handled. Exploring harsh noises of screaming feedback and No-Input, drones keep on building a wall of sound that can be experienced as a state of meditation and ritual.

This Goleb concert is as a part of activities at De Vlugt gebouw supported by stichting Urban Resort.
