Urgent Matters / Srettam Tnegru and Goleb would like to invite you to an informal round table discussion, where each is asked to bring a flyer, document or image of a (historic or personal) event, exhibition, artwork or found footage that are in your archive files. We will be a small group of no more than 12.

During the evening we will ask you to do a short presentation on this reference.

This time we propose questions about your artistic process: How do these materials and your archive inform your art practice? Do these images haunt us? How? What do we do with them? How does a post-colonial analysis filter the archival material we collect?

Part recuperation of local recent history / part personal genealogy of art(ists) we care about, the proposed event mines our memories, how we are keepers of works that we have seen, what we care about and why.

Presentations should be no longer than 15 minutes with plenty of chit chat.

PLEASE RSVP by October 26th– to guttmankg@gmail.com or tatjana@artkosmika.com

You can also join us as a conversationalist (in that case please RSVP us too). We will be serving a soup and light snacks, with coffee, tea and some drinks.

We plan on organising a series of events in 2015 and 2016. If you are interested to participate or help in any way with our future events, let us know!

Hope to see you soon @ Goleb,

Tatjana and k.g.
