**Karima Boudou** Guest in Residence

Karima Boudou (b. 1987) is an art historian and independent curator based in Amsterdam. She is a graduate in art history as well as in philosophy, and attended the Curatorial Training Programme of De Appel in 2012/13 in Amsterdam. In 2011 she co-founded the curatorial collective DIS/PARERE. She conducts independent research projects, exhibitions and publications in Morocco and Europe. She recently organized Donelle Woolford’s solo exhibition at the Marrakech Biennale (Performer, Artisan, Narrator, 2014), an exhibition at the Deutsches Architektur Zentrum (Berlin, 2015), an exhibition-magazine alongside artist Soufiane Ababri at Le Cube (Rabat, 2015) and edited The Same River Twice, a publication with poetry by Jimmie Durham.
She is currently preparing a solo presentation of the work of Glenn Ligon (Rongwrong, Amsterdam, 2016), as well as a the research project Liberty, Liberté, dealing with the narrative of the museum collection in dialogue with contemporary artistic practices.
