This was the seventh and last of a series of monthly Moving Image Club events @ Goleb.
Rosie Heinrich creates sound works, films, performances and publications, which develop out of extensive research. Her approach is to conduct multiple interviews, which she revisits, interweaves and edits in order to spin a narrative. Previous projects have explored individual experiences of manic depression and the financial crash in Iceland in 2008.
Recent shows include ‘We always need Heroes’ (solo) shown at PuntWG, Amsterdam and Cycle music and Arts festival in Iceland. Rosie has just completed a residency at Kunsthuis SYB, Beetsterzwaag and will soon launch her new publication ‘We always need Heroes’ (Fw:Books). She has an MFA from Dutch Art Institute and is currently a fellow of THIRD research group at DAS Graduate School. Find out more about Rosie’s work here: www.rosieheinrich.info
The series of Moving Image Club @ Goleb were organised by artist Ruth Legg and co-hosted by Igor Sevcuk.
