*07 November* Evening Readings by Nadia de Vries, Zazie Stevens and Helena Grande – online

Posted on November 2, 2020

After having to cancel the live version of this event, we decided to do it online. Nadia de Vries, Zazie Stevens, and Helena Grande will be reading online from Goleb Project Space next Saturday. We’ll share a link to the live streaming on the same day.

Here is an introduction to the work of each of them:

Nadia de Vries is a poet and essayist. She is the author of the critical memoire Kleinzeer (Uitgeverij Pluim, 2019; in Dutch) and the poetry collection Dark Hour (Dostoyevsky Wannabe, 2018; in English). She also curated the Amsterdam edition of the Dostoyevsky Wannabe Cities series (2020). For this performance at Corridor, she will be reading new work from her forthcoming second poetry collection I Failed to Swoon (2021).

Zazie Stevens is an artist and writer based in Amsterdam. She received her Master of Fine Arts at the Sandberg Institute and runs a seasonal magazine called DAISYWORLD. Through her poetic practice of image and language, she looks at beauty, perception, the sensory, the nonhuman, ecology & erotica – with an emphasis on interconnectedness – resulting in intimate objects and meetings.

Helena Grande is a writer and curator based in Amsterdam. She is the author of the flash fiction collection Speech Choke (Hocus Bogus Publishing, 2020). Her stories have appeared in the anthology book DW Cities Amsterdam (Dostoyevsky Wannabe, 2020). She has published in journals such as A*Desk, nY and Research Catalogue. This evening she will read from her book Speech Choke.
